STRATEGIC ASSESSMENT- In the early hours of Tuesday, the Yemeni Armed Forces declared the targeting of an American vessel in the Red Sea using a series of suitable naval missiles.
The official spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier Yahya Saree, stated, “In response to the American-British aggression on our country and in solidarity with the Palestinian people, the naval forces executed a precision strike on the American ship Pinocchio in the Red Sea. The strike was accurate, achieving its objectives.”
Saree affirmed that the Yemeni Armed Forces would continue to block “Israeli” navigation heading towards the occupied Palestine ports in the Red and Arabian Seas until the aggression and blockade on Gaza cease.
He added, “Our operations will escalate, with the help of Allah, during the month of Ramadan, the month of jihad, in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and our brethren fighting in Gaza.”
Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, the Yemeni Armed Forces have targeted cargo ships in the Red Sea owned and operated by “Israeli” companies, transporting goods to and from “Israel,” in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza.
In response to Yemeni forces’ attacks in the Red Sea, American and British aircraft have carried out several strikes across Yemen, prompting occasional retaliation from the group.
