STRATEGIC ASSESSMENT. Sandiaga Salahudin Uno’s name had supported by the United Development Party (PPP, red) symphatizers when he was attended 50th PPP’s anniversary which held at Kridosono Stadion in Yogyakarta. The United Development Party (PPP, red) symphatizers was chanted his name “Sandi President, Sandi President”.
Acting Chairman of PPP, Muhammad Mardiono did not reject an internal discourse that PPP will promote Sandiaga at presidential elections in 2024. Mardiono explained that, party constitutional task is the center of collecting nation leaders. “From the figure of presidential candidate will analysis, before we are going to offer his or her name to the public related to public’s responses on those figure,” said Mardiono.
According to Mardiono, PPP as political party does not somebody political right monopoly, including to Sandiaga Uno.
“Does the plan of candidation of Sandiaga Uno as president candidate in 2024 had finished to communicate with Prabowo Subianto as Gerindra’s chairman, Mardiono has diplomatically ansewered. “Communication between political party have been always held. But its can explain that political collabority is a must, many of Gerindra’s cadre have been supported by PPP to be regent or mayor in many provinces and vice versa,” said Mardiono explained further.
