STRATEGIC ASSESSMENT. The Papuan Student Alliance (AMP) Bali on Monday held a rally in Renon protesting the 60th anniversary of the New York Agreement, calling it illegitimate and not in compliance with international law. They also made several demands, including demand for Indonesia, the Netherlands, the United States, and the United Nations to accept full responsibility for the illegal agreement; to reject the formation of three new autonomous regions in Papua; demand for responsibility from Indonesia, the Netherlands, and the United States for the ongoing colonization and human rights atrocities against the people of West Papua; and to allow foreign and national journalists access to West Papua.
