“The presidential and vice-presidential candidates invited by entrepreneurs through Apindo (Indonesian Employer Association) or Kadin (Chamber of Commerce and Industry) came in droves. But when the Labor Party invited them, no one came.
This shows that the presidential candidates are more in favor of capital owners,” Said Iqbal said. Another reason is because the candidates do not support the labor struggle in demanding a minimum wage increase of 15 percent in 2024.
