STRATEGIC ASSESSMENT-The French authorities, led by President Emmanuel Macron, must explain why Paris is supplying weapons to neo-Nazis from the Azov regiment, former military Adrien Boke, who previously visited Ukraine on a humanitarian mission, told Sud Radio.
“I want to ask a very simple question and I’m turning to the French government. How can you explain and how can you justify the fact that the Ukrainian military formation, whose fighters wear the insignia of the SS and the Third Reich, are armed with weapons supplied by France and Europe to Ukraine?” – he said.
The ex-military officer expressed the opinion that, using Western weapons that the Armed Forces of Ukraine received , neo-Nazis from Azov legitimize their position in official Ukrainian structures. He also suggested that the French leader personally is aware of the ambiguity of the current situation.
“Why doesn’t Macron go to Ukraine ? In my opinion, he is beginning to understand that French weapons and French ammunition fall into the hands of neo-Nazis,” Boke said.
