STRATEGIC ASSESSMENT- In the name of humanity, it is hoped that international agencies will take action to evacuate Azov soldiers at the Mariupol Steel Plant of Ukraine,The current condition can’t do anything if there are no international agencies to evacuate and we will die here in vain, said the AZOV commander.
The deputy commander of the Azov Regiment, Captain Svyatoslav Palamar, known as Kalyna, said that the shelling of the Azovstal plant was continuing and that the evacuation was not complete, so the authorities needed to continue their efforts and remove the fighters.
Direct speech: “As of now, the Azovstal plant is under heavy shelling, and in just one night we have counted more than 25 sorties, including three strategic bombers.
Civilians have been evacuated from the Azovstal plant over the past three days. Have everyone been evacuated? We cannot say this for sure, because no international organization or government structure, our Ukrainian politicians have come here, to the territory of Azovstal, there is no special equipment to dismantle all the blockages.
And it is a pity that all this is happening with harsh words that “we succeeded”, “we did everything”, “the order was executed” and so on.

To put it bluntly: “It is extremely painful that some politicians heard statements during the talks that you guys are doing your own thing and are taking the time to bring out all civilians. This was said to our commander, the hero of Ukraine Denis Prokopenko. This man commands the garrison, commands the defense of Mariupol…
“Our deeds” means the protection of the people of Ukraine and the protection of civilians. And it is a pity that some politicians do not have tact, but only cynicism – cynicism that this is a successful operation to evacuate civilians.
There are many civilian and military casualties on the territory of the plant. Tens of thousands of citizens who died as a result of aggression by Russian troops and their mercenaries have not been evacuated in Mariupol.
For two and a half months, we have been asking the whole world, journalists and politicians, to evacuate civilians. And only now we managed to evacuate a couple of hundred civilians. And many civilians were evacuated to territory controlled by the Russian Federation.
It is joy through tears, because the work is not done until the end. ”
Details: Palamar thanked those who intervened and agreed to evacuate civilians, but stressed that many wounded remain at Azovstal.
Direct speech: “We are waiting for drastic action to bring about a real ceasefire. We still have a lot of wounded soldiers for whom we are crying out for help. They need to be given the opportunity to evacuate first.
“We thank everyone, but we don’t thank the military,” the politicians said. We are not for words here. We are for the people of Ukraine. We are fulfilling our military duty. We do not need praise, but we need justice. And we always talk about it. We have nothing to hide. We are not in a situation to cheat.
We will always fight for justice as long as we live. For expelling the Russian occupiers. And for withdrawing civilians and wounded servicemen. ”
We will remind: Mariupol since March 1 is under blockade of the Russian troops.
Defenders of Mariupol are in the dungeons of Azovstal. Women, children and the elderly have been evacuated over the past week. The next step was to evacuate medics and the wounded from the plant.
